Account Deletion Policy

1. How to Request Deletion

You have the absolute right to close your 5MinutesAPI account and request the deletion of your data at any time. To initiate this process, you must send an email to our support team with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

For security and verification purposes, the request must be sent from the email address associated with your registered 5MinutesAPI account.

2. Processing Timeline

Once your request is received and verified, we will process your account deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been completely erased from our active servers.

3. What Happens During Deletion

• API Keys Revoked: Your Master API keys will be permanently invalidated immediately.
• WABA Disconnection: Any active Meta WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) integrations will be unlinked.
• Data Erasure: Your message logs, contact details, and platform analytics will be permanently deleted from our active database.

4. Wallet Balances & Subscriptions

Account deletion is a permanent and irreversible action. Before requesting deletion, please ensure you have utilized any remaining funds in your API wallet. Any unutilized wallet balances will be permanently forfeited upon account deletion and cannot be refunded or transferred. Any active WABA subscriptions will be automatically canceled to prevent future charges.

5. Data Retention Exceptions

While your operational data and account access will be erased, we are legally required by our Payment Processors (Merchant of Record) and international tax authorities to retain financial transaction records, invoices, and billing history for a period of up to 7 years. This retained data is strictly isolated and used solely for legal compliance and audit purposes.
